95% finished 1939 BMW R12 project. The engine has been totally rebuilt and runs (video available).
The transmission has been rebuilt and has a new clutch, bearings and seals. The drive shaft assembly is new and the rear drive unit has been rebuilt. The engine starts and runs. The carburetter needs a rebuild and a new throttle cable.
The bike has been completely stripped down to its frame and gone through.
I didn't repaint it, as I like the finish it currently has. All the wheel bearings, brakes and tyres are new.
The forks have been rebuilt with new bushes and seals. Doesn't need much to finish it, just time mainly and a few parts.
Lovely looking machine, sad I don't have my health or time to complete it.

It comes with sidecar covers and 2 old leather panniers, look original? Lots of receipts for parts I have purchased and invoices that came with it as well as some manuals and books. It has been verified as genuine by the BMW Group Archives (see photo of document).
It has been imported and has the NOVA paperwork done, but I haven't applied for the logbook yet.
