Offered now for a reluctant sale is my Jeep, this is a cracking little Jeep still on its 6v charging system.
It benefits from having a original A frame fitted.
It also has a brand-new set of combat rims with Firestone NDT Tyres x5.
A .30 Cal gun mount fitted.
U.S war type radio fitted and a bustle basket and lining bag.
It comes with various bags hanging off the back and it also has a genuine US spade and axe on the side.
It also benefits from having the full winter door kit including the windscreen cover for when you’re driving it open top.
Had a brand-new vintage style 6 V battery fitted only a month ago, starts first time, every time.
A real pleasure to drive, this car is about as original as you can get. It’s what I call A oily rag it has its starting handle if the battery goes flat ever.
It has a British airborne type removal steering wheel fitted and I am told it has a rare towing hitch fitted only fitted for one year??? of production.
To summarise if you’re looking for a immaculate restored never been to war looking vehicle, then this will not be the vehicle for you.
I’m sorry, you have to appreciate that this vehicle is 100% original.
And she does have battle scars as indicated in the photos.
Call viewing highly recommended and encouraged I’m only selling this vehicle due to needing a bigger World War II vehicle and I would happily be interested in a part Exchange with a Deuce and a half / Jimmy winch truck preferably short wheelbase.
Bad bits Well you don’t get to 77 years old without needing a patch here or there.
In my opinion the fuel tank sump needs replacing as this has been patched not very well but still solid and the Tub support under the back seat on the underside needs replacing.
The parts are available readily to fix this quite easily, other than that she’s ready to go to Normandy next year.
