3 ton Zugmachine Volvo M/43

A very rare artillery tractor that is one of only 108 ever built in 1943 under licence from Demag. 
All of the essential missing vehicle body parts have now been manufactured and will be included to enable this halftrack to be fully restored and running.
The body tub is still very solid and was made of good quality steel, it is not rotten and is not punctured with holes, in fact everything under the bonnet is complete as is the drive train, gearbox and differential.  Where the upper body work has been removed I have manufactured replacement panels, fuel tanks and other body work.
The rubber wheel bands are original Trelleborg and in good condition with some of the wheels sand blasted and painted ready to fit.
Also included are new front tyres, made to the original Whermacht pattern.
The tracks have all had the pins pressed out and are now ready to accept new bearings and seals. New rubber track blocks are available if requested.The completed vehicle, as seen in the attached photos, is very similar in appearance to the larger Kraus-Maffei range of halftracks and shares the wheel base arrangement and general size of the Hanomag 251. 
Track links and idler wheels are inter changeable with the shorter Demag Sd.Kfz 10 , from whom it was made under licence.
