This Maultier was found in the last century in Saarbrucken Germany.
A farmer had it converted back to a truck and all original parts of the tracked suspension have been found on its farm. Itw as so original that it went a preservation job and not a restoration. The wood of the bad have been renewed with the correct wood.
It got a quick paintjob and the running gear was all checked and serviced.
It is a rare and original steelcab of the 2nd model FOrd V3000 Maultier.
This is an original Maultier and not a postwar conversion.
During its restoration some German bullets where found in its drivers cab and its chassis shows some marks of WW2 as well.
A true survivor of WW2 and not an assembled vehicle built of several donor cars.
On this Maultier most grew old together.
Wouldn't surprise me if this is its original engine!
