After an extensive 2-year Class A restoration in our Workshops in Nederweert the Netherlands this WWII veteran is brought back to his former glory.
The Priest is equipped with all the characteristic attributes and its handles like it just left the factory in 1945. This is absolutely a high-end restoration which can been seen in every detail No corners cut! Without any doubt the best you can buy. We like to present you our gorgeous recently Class A restored and finished project being a genuine Priest M7B1, USA 40172609-S built by the Pressed Steel Car Company in Chicago (Hegewisch Station).
This example is discovered in by us in Germany in May 2018. It is certainly one of the last remaining Priests and without any doubt, the best we had ever discovered.
The Priest is equipped with the original magnificent fully rebuilt Ford GAA engine making an absolute great and reliable unit! Surviving Priests are very rare compared to for instance Sherman tanks.
Comes with brand new Staman tracks and entire new suspension, deactivated M2A1 howitzer, all canvas etc. etc. See also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1Gah23vCHQ. In June 2024 we brought it back to the beaches of Normandy to make its first public appearance at the 80th Anniversary of D-DAY.
This Priest can been viewed at the Eye Witness Event in Overloon the Netherlands on Saturday August 31 and Sunday September 1st and will be one of the main participants in the LTF XXX Corps Military Remembrance Convoy Belgium/Netherlands from Leopoldsburg to Bemmel from Saturday September 14 ending in Bemmel on Friday September 20 2024 with over 288 vehicles, 47 motorcycles and 720 participants.
